Our programs are based upon each child’s developmental needs.
The infant program focuses on giving lots of love and cuddles to our youngest students. Evaluating each child to ensure milestones are being met and encouraging each child to their fullest potential. We communicate with parents through the day with updates and pictures via our Brightwheel app so they know their child is well cared for when they are away.
Toddlers are such a fun age and are learning at lightning speed. This class focuses on socializing and learning new skills. We use free play and structured activities to teach fine and gross motor skills, communication, reasoning and respecting each other’s boundaries.
This class is for our younger children that may not have been in care before or may be struggling with social/behavioral milestones. We maintain small classes so the children get lots of 1:1 attention for their specific needs as well as answering the many questions they have every day. This will enable them to catapult into their academic lives and start with the best possible advantages. Learning the basic academic skills, self-care, and possibly most importantly, appropriate social skills and emotional regulation.
Our Kindergarten prep class has a maximum of 18 students so the teacher and full-time aide can spend time with each child focusing on their advanced skill building and individual learning style. Our goal is to not only prepare them for school but so they can feel confident and excel from the start.
Our hope is that when a child starts at Nonnie’s Village we create a collaborative relationship with the family. Our wonderful and caring staff will identify any specific needs of the child, make recommendations and support the child and family through their path to pre-k, until they graduate at age 5.
We offer extended care for Fridays and from 3-5:00pm

Our programs are based on Creative Curriculum Strategies. Research shows that a whole-child approach to education, one where children have opportunities to develop not only math and literacy skills but also social–emotional, physical, and cognitive skills, is developmentally appropriate and better prepares children for life well beyond their time in a classroom.
All of our teachers integrate outdoor learning & STEM-based activities into our curriculum.
