Developmental Infant Care for ages 6wks – 23months
The infant program focuses on giving lots of love and cuddles to our youngest students. Evaluating each child to ensure milestones are being met and encouraging each child to their fullest potential. We communicate with parents through the day with updates and pictures via our Brightwheel app so they know their child is well cared for when they are away.
Toddler School for ages 24months – 35months
This class focuses on socializing and learning new skills. Toddlers are such a fun age and are learning at lightning speed. We use free and structured play activities to teach fine and gross motor skills, communication, reasoning and respecting each other’s boundaries.
Preschool for ages 3-4 years
When children start preschool it is the beginning of “Kindergarten Training”. Our goal is to have every child ready, to the best of their ability, to start Kindergarten both academically and socially. Our philosophy is that if a child comes to Nonnie’s Village as an infant, their growth and development is seamless through the years until they go to 1st grade. This will enable them to catapult into their academic lives and start with the best possible advantages. Learning the basic academic skills, self-care, and possibly most importantly, appropriate social skills and emotional regulation.
Pre-K for ages 4-5 years
Our Pre-K is a continuation of our 3-4 year old Preschool Program. We still maintain small classes so the children get lots of 1:1 attention for their specific needs as well as answering the many questions they have every day. Current students and our Preschool Promise students have first chance at enrollment into the Pre-K program, however if there are vacancies available we will accept applications for Pre-K and extended care.
Kindergarten ages 5-6 years
We are very excited to offer Kindergarten starting in September 2021. With so many unanswered questions about the school system next year we wanted to give parents an option they can be confident in. Nonnie’s Village will continue to have smaller than district classes with certified teachers that are able to adjust and adapt their curriculum to meet the needs of the individual student. While we will still have the support of the county for any special needs a student may have (IEP/IFSP) we are confident that every child will thrive at our Village.

Imagine your child spending much of their day outside, playing and learning in a less formal, more intuitive environment – one where they are encouraged to get dirty and discover new things about the world around them. Studies have shown that an academic preschool can boost a child’s math and reading abilities before starting primary school. Kids can learn these things without being stuck inside all day! If you feel that your child needs a helping-hand before school starts this fall, or you just want them to have a fun, outdoor summer experience, please email or call us for enrollment information. We have limited space & encourage you to sign up now!

Our more traditional program is based on Creative Curriculum Strategies. Research shows that a whole-child approach to education, one where children have opportunities to develop not only math and literacy skills but also social–emotional, physical, and cognitive skills, is developmentally appropriate and better prepares children for life well beyond their time in a classroom.
We also integrate outdoor learning opportunities within our traditional preschool classroom as well.
